tag

the "other" brittani tagged me to tell 6 things about me that you may not know or want to know about me. so here it goes......
1. my toe is permanently deformed because i haven't taken my toe ring off in 11 years.

2. growing up my nick-name was bratty ann, although i'm not sure why! i'm pretty sure i was an angel.

3. i have a hard time letting go of the past. i still have most of my t-shirts and sweat pants from high school basketball and track and from ricks college. (much to my husband's dismay)

4. i think most people already know this about me, but i have an irrational fear of spiders. i know, i know, i'm a little crazy checking my shoes and clothes everyday to make sure there are no spiders in there or checking the entire shower stall before every shower. but come on, who really wants to shower with one of those nasty little critters?

5. i have had seven kidney stones. the first when i was 18 years old. and i haven't had one in 6 years.

6. i hate hate hate going to the dentist. actually, the dental hygenist (sorry jo). i hate the scraping of my teeth. i would rather have a cavity filled. totally wrong i know, but that is how i feel.

now for tagging. i have tagged friends in the past, and with out much luck, ok no luck. you know who you are, so .....if you like me and haven't already done this feel free to let me know that you like me. (hint, hint)

bragging rights

yesterday was one of those days when you forget to bring your camcorder and you kick yourself for it. andrew had an awesome soccer game. it is the end of the season and a few things are starting to sink in. he made great passes, (which if you ever watch 5 year olds they don't usually pass,) he played great defence, and he scored 4 goals in the 4th quarter alone! what a guy! next week is his last game. while i am happy for it to end, i am also a little sad because he is so fun to watch. he is so stinkin' fast. i love watching him run. sorry for all the bragging, but i am proud of him and how much he has improved. way to go bud.

this is what happens......

when you leave a two year old alone for too long! while i was cooking dinner tonight, will decided to get into my make-up. doesn't he look pretty? fortunately it only ended up on his face, and in his mouth. when i showed him what he looked like in the mirror, he looked a little confused.

fyi: our neighbors found a tarantula in their garage today, my father in law caught it for them. i was already freaked out by ours, now i am scared out of my mind! i think i might puke!

catching up...

i thought i would just give a quick update on our lives.
jeff: after approximately 8 years serving in the elder's quoram, he finally got a new calling. he is very excited to serve a the 1st counselor in the stake young men's. still working hard on finishing up our landscaping. it is almost there. this is his first semester teaching pharmacology to the dental hygeniene students at our community college. it is a lot of work this first semester, but once all the lectures are done then he should be able to enjoy it. so as you can tell he keeps himself busy.
britney: i am enjoying my calling in the nursery, it is a nice break after being the enrichment counselor. now that school has started i am teaching art toandrew and kaylee's classes. i also volunteered to help head up the art program here at our school. i also do the citizenship at the school. i have been spending a lot of time there, but i loved being so involved at the school and with my kids' classes. they love seeing me there.
kaylee: a busy social 3rd grader. she loves school. and most of all she loves reading. every month they are suppose to read 350 minutes. last month kaylee had about 1200 or more. she is a freakin book worm. she is taking tennis lessons and piano lessons right now. this will be her 3rd year of piano. she is a social butterfly and wants to spend every day with her friends, most especially harley.
andrew: is our big kindergartener. he is loving school and learning a ton. every word you say to him he says, ttttt turtle t etc. or he his rhyming or singing. i was so worried about him, cause he had no interest last year in pre-school, but he is loving it and soaking it all up. he is playing soccer right now, and he loves it. he loves to run and is a fast little bugger.
will: he is our cute busy little 2 year old. i have been enjoying our time together while the others are at school. he is fun to be with, and can always make me smile.
